On Wednesday, 130 swabs tested at the Bharatpur COVID Laboratory yielded coronavirus positive results.
According to lab sources, 130 of 224 swabs tested positive for coronavirus, including 101 from the Chitwan district.
The majority of infected people are from the Bharatpur Metropolitan Area. In Bharatpur alone, 88 people, 46 men, and 42 women tested positive for coronavirus.
Similarly, eight people from Ratnanagar, two from Kharahani and Madi, and one from Kalika Municipality have tested positive for COVID-19.
The other 29 cases are from Nawalpur, Gorkha, Nuwakot, Parbat, Kathmandu, and Bara.
As of May 5, Chitwan had nearly 1500 people who were actively infected.
