According to the Non-Resident Nepali Association, 41 Nepalis have died as a result of COVID-19 in various places throughout the world in the previous two weeks (NRNA).

According to the Nepalis Abroad umbrella organization, 29 people died from the flu-like sickness in India, eight in Qatar, and one each in France, the Maldives, and Belgium.

Over 100,000 Nepalis in 54 countries have been reported to have contracted the lethal virus. Among them, 99,257 were said to have recovered completely.

According to the NRNA, the total number of COVID-19 fatalities among Nepalis living abroad is 423. These deaths were reported from 28 different nations.
