513,000 doses of Covid-19 Vaccines arrive from Japan at 9 am today

Covishield vaccines against corona have arrived in Nepal from Japan. 

Of the 1.6 million doses to be sent by Japan, 513,000 doses of vaccine arrived at 9 am today.

An additional 287,000 doses of vaccine will arrive on Sunday and the remaining 800,000 will arrive next week.

Senior citizens who have already received the first dose will be able to get the second dose as soon as the Covishield vaccine is introduced.

According to the availability of vaccines, the vaccination campaign will be delayed in a few days if it starts in Provinces 1 and 2.
