JB Rana: Protests are being held for and against Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabara.
The Nepal Bar Association has continued the agitation demanding Jabra’s resignation, accusing him of seeking a share in politics with the executive.
A sit-in was held on Friday to prevent Chief Justice Jabbar from entering the office. At the same time, some law practitioners and some people have also protested in favor of Jabra, saying that he has started a bar movement against the rule of law.
Police have arrested the Supreme Court to the people who had been in favor of the demonstration on Friday. SP Ramesh Kumar Basnet informed that six members of the Tara Baral group were taken under control and kept at Mahendra Police Club.
According to him, five women and a man have been arrested.
