A Division League: Former winners Machhindra Football Club and runners-up Tribhuvan Army Football Club played a goalless draw in the second round of the Martyrs’ Memorial ‘A’ Division League.

Overall, the second phase was like a game between Machhindra and Army. After losing five games, two games ended in a draw. At this stage, neither team was able to win by a big margin. Three goals in the match between Sankata Club and Friends Club was the most.

Police defeated Jawalakhel Youth Club 1-0 in the only match played on the third day. Police maintained their unbeaten run with the decisive goal of substitute Suman Lama.
On the final day of the second round, the title race ended in a goalless draw with the New Road Team (NRT) Brigade Boys Club (BBC). With this draw, NRT has been pushed into the title race.
In the last match of the last day, Army and Machhindra drew level. With this result, Manang has directly benefited. Manang has a two-point lead in the second round.
At the end of the second phase, Manang has six points including two goals from two games. Sankata, BBC, Machhindra, Police, and Satdobato are in second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth place respectively. Three Star and Castle with the same three points are in the seventh and eighth position while Army with two points is in the ninth position.
Himalayan Sherpas, Friends, and NRT are ranked 10th, 11th, and 12th respectively. Meanwhile, Jawalakhel and APF, which could not add any points, are in the relegation zone. The games of the third phase will start from Friday.
