Achham jeep accident kills 4, 14 injured

Achham jeep accident has killed Four people and 14 others injured, Some seriously injured and in a critical condition.

Four persons were killed when a jeep (Se 1 Cha 1763) met with an accident at Panchadewal Binayak Municipality-1 on Sunday night.

The Far-Western Provincial Traffic Police Office, Attariya, has confirmed that 18-year-old Jeevan Jaisi, 18-year-old Sarva Bohara, 21-year-old Jeevan Neupane, and 17-year-old Himal Nepali of Panchadewal Binayak Municipality-3 died in the accident.

According to the traffic police, one of them died on the spot and three others succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at a local health facility.

Fourteen people injured in the accident have been referred to Nepalgunj for further treatment. The condition of some of them is critical, police said.

The jeep fell about 200 meters uncontrollably while reversing on a dirt road. Stating that the driver could not be identified, the police said that the search was on.
