ANFA’s decision to recall the players who were expelled from the national team

July 8, Kathmandu. The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has decided to recall all the players who were left out of the national team by head coach Abdullah Almutairi in the national team.

The first meeting of the newly elected working committee held on Wednesday decided to recall all the players who were dropped from the national team, said Anil Malla, a member of the working committee.

Head coach Almutairi had dropped 10 players including Rohit Chand, Ananta Tamang, Anjan Bista and Vishal Rai from the national team for leaving closed training without his permission.

A meeting of the ANFA working committee has decided to give the responsibility to General Secretary Kiran Rai to discuss and coordinate with all parties concerned so as not to spoil the international relations keeping in view the report of the committee formed to investigate the issue of head coach Almutairi.

As soon as he was elected chairman, Nemwang said that he would decide on the player-coach dispute.
