The Pokhara Rhinos have also signed two Sri Lankan players for the fourth edition of the Everest Premier League (EPL).
Sri Lankan all-rounders Asela Gunaratne and Sahan Arachchige will play in the EPL from September 25 to October 9.
Right-arm all-rounder Gunaratne made his T20 international debut against India in 2016 and also made his ODI and Test debut against Zimbabwe the same year.
The arrival of Asela Gunaratne has strengthened Pokhara’s bowling and batting.
Gunaratne has played six Tests, 31 ODIs, and 12 T20I matches for Sri Lanka. He has taken 50 wickets in 75 T20s and scored 1,398 runs at a strike rate of 118.07.
Sahan Arachchige, another 25-year-old to play from Pokhara, is also an all-rounder. Although he did not play for the national team, he has played 34 T20 matches. He has scored 458 runs at a strike rate of 127.22.
Nepal’s Bibek Yadav is the Pokhara all-rounder along with two Sri Lankan all-rounders.
Pokhara has already signed South African batsman Richard Levi and West Indies bowler Kesarik Williams.
