A curfew has been imposed in the Baitadi district bordering India till mid-August. The injunction has been extended till August 16 due to the risk of coronavirus.
Earlier, the ban was added for the sixth time from July 16 to 30 in the district.
Acting Chief District Officer of Baitadi, Khagendra Bharti, informed that the ban has been added for the seventh time with effect from today.
As the risk of coronavirus remains high, health measures should be taken during the ban period.
According to the injunction, the shop will be open from 6 am to 7 pm.
Similarly, the district administration office has stated that a maximum of 25 people should participate in religious programs such as weddings and fasts.
The ban issued in Baitadi on May 3 has been relaxed and extended.
Health workers have urged to remain vigilant as even the third wave of coronavirus is being warned.
At present, 27 people are actively infected with a corona in the district and 18 people have died due to corona so far.
