Spanish club Barcelona has been eliminated from the group stage of the European Champions League.
Five-time winners Barcelona are out of the group stage after losing 3-0 to Bayern Munich in the final of the group stage on Wednesday night.
In the next match, Benfica beat Dynamo Kyiv 2-0 and Barcelona finished third in Group E.
Thomas Muller, Leroy Sane, and Jamal Musiala all scored to give Bayern the win at home.
Barcelona had previously been knocked out of the group stage in 2000-2001.
Bayern added 18 points from 6 games with 100 percent victory. Benfica reached the knockout stage as the group winner by adding 8 points. Barcelona finished third with 2 points from 6 games and 7 points from 1 draw.
Another Spanish club Sevilla is also out of the group stage. Sevilla could not make the top two after losing 1-0 to Salzburg in the final game of Group G. French clubs Lille and Salzburg have reached the last 16 from this group.
Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have reached the last 16 from Spain.
Italian club Juventus also won Group H by defeating Malmo 1-0. Chelsea finished runners-up with a 3-3 draw with Zenit St. Petersburg.
