President Bidya Devi Bhandari has sent her best wishes to all Nepalis on buddha jayanti, both at home and abroad, on the occasion of Lord Buddha’s 2565th birth anniversary.
In a message issued today, the Head of State wished everyone peace and nonviolence.
She stated that the birth of Gautam Buddha in Nepal was a source of pride for the country since it paved the way for all to progress toward peace and prosperity.
In the address, the President stated his view that the preaching of Gautam Buddha, the prophet of peace, might bring world peace, tolerance, fraternity, and mutual understanding among all. She also longed for the globe to return to normalcy following the COVID-19 pandemic’s fast recovery.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of the Ubhauli holiday, the President has offered his warmest wishes to all Kirat groups.
She has desired for everyone’s peace, prosperity, and fraternity.
The President stated that the nation’s originality was its multi-cultural, multi-lingual, and diverse identity, and he hoped that the event would help create mutual harmony, tolerance, and fraternity among all.
