Journalist Bindu kumar Chauhan of Rupendehi, a member of the Lumbini Provincial Committee of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, has died.
Chauhan, 45, died at the Universal College of Medical Sciences in Bhairahawa on Tuesday night while undergoing treatment for pneumonia.
After being diagnosed with pneumonia three days ago, Chauhan was admitted to Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
Chauhan is a member of the former working committee of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Rurupandehi. Chauhan, who has been working as a journalist in Lumbini Cultural Municipality of Rupandehi for two decades, has a wife, four sons, and three daughters.
The Lumbini Provincial Committee of the Federation of Nepali Journalists and the Rupendehi branch have expressed grief over Chauhan’s death.
