In 2021, India’s true wireless stereo (TWS) market is expected to grow by 60% year on year to reach 21 million units. According to Counterpoint Research, domestic brand Boat took the top spot for the sixth consecutive quarter, followed by Realme and Noise. While domestic manufacturing of TWS devices is still in its infancy, this percentage is likely to grow further due to increased collaboration with EMS (electronic manufacturing services) providers and the benefits available under the “Make In India” scheme.
