Romelu Lukaku returns from a decade later to score for Chelsea as they beat Arsenal in the London derby of the Premier League.

Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-0 at home on Sunday. This is Chelsea’s second consecutive win in the 2021-22 season.

In the 15th minute of the game at the Emirates Stadium, Lukaku gave Chelsea the lead by scoring on a pass from Reese Witherspoon. Lukaku had just signed for Chelsea a few days ago.

Reese Witherspoon scored the second goal for Chelsea in the 35th minute on a Mason Mount pass.

After the second consecutive victory, Chelsea has risen to the top with 6 points. Liverpool, Brighton, and Tottenham have the same 6 points but Chelsea is ahead in goal difference.

Arsenal has suffered its second consecutive defeat. Arsenal lost to newcomer Brentford in the first leg.
