Chitwan Government closes its services due to increasing cases

The local administration is going to stop the regular service of the crowded office in Chitwan as the coronavirus infection is increasing.

Chief District Officer Premlal Lamichhane has issued an order today stating that the office will be closed from August 17 to 26.

The order said, “Regular service flow will be suspended except for urgent and internal work of the District Administration Office, Land Revenue, Survey and Transport Management Office, which are more crowded than the government offices in the district.”

The order has banned the operation of meetings, conferences, demonstrations, gatherings, seminars, training, cinemas, party palaces, and others. The same arrangement has already been made in all the government offices except the district which is more crowded. 

Food, vegetables, fruits, milk, dairy, fish, meat, eggs, grains, gas, pooja, shops will be available to operate every day from 10 am to 6 pm.

Stores other than the designated ones will be open on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 12 noon to 6 pm. The shops that will be opened in this way include electronics, utensils, clothes, fancy, cosmetic, gold and silver, furniture, shoes, slippers, tailoring, book shops, and other commercial shops. 

Canteens, restaurants, and sweet shops will be open from 12 noon to 6 pm. The public transport system has been given continuity. 

Seats will be available according to capacity. Earlier, the chief district officer had discussed with the local level chiefs and made a plan to tighten the rules in the district.

Don’t come to the hospital unnecessarily: Bharatpur Hospital

The Bharatpur Hospital has requested the patients not to come to the hospital at other times except in case of emergency.

Acting Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Jagannath Tiwari, while issuing a public notice today, requested to come to the hospital only in case of need as the pressure of patients in Corona is increasing.

The statement said, “In the coming days, the number of beds in the hospital will be more than the number of beds allocated for the treatment of Kovid, the number of patients in need of intensive care unit, HDU, ventilator, and oxygen is high and the mortality rate of Kovid infected patients is high.” It seems to be getting harder and harder. ”

The notice has appealed to all to follow the public health and safety standards if they have to go out of the house without doing any urgent work.
