Civil Hospital gets Health supplies worth Rs 11.8 million

On the initiative of Bagmati State Assembly Member Dipendra Shrestha, health equipment worth Rs 11.8 million has been handed over to the Civil Hospital at Min Bhawan.

With the help of Choice Humanitarian Social Organization, ventilators, oxygen cylinders, PPE, gloves, oximeters, face shields, emergency trailers, and other health items worth Rs. 11.8 million have been handed over.

According to Shrestha, a member of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly.

Executive Director of the hospital, Vidhannidhi Poudel, said that Shrestha, a member of the state assembly, had earlier come to the hospital with a list of necessary supplies.

He said that the procurement process could not be completed after the second phase of Corona with new variants was spread.

The hospital has stated that preparations have been started from now as the third phase of Corona is also expected to come.

Pratik Sharma, executive director of the supporting organization, said that the materials were provided to the civil hospital in Baneshwor based on the need.

He informed that the hospital was able to provide health items on the same day as the donor’s contribution to the organization’s fund on Wednesday. In the midst of the ban, they went to different places for 15 days and searched for health items, and made them available.
