Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 6,347, with 193 new casualties

In the last 24 hours, 193 COVID-19 patients have reportedly died as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

The new deaths bring the country’s death toll to 6,347 as of Sunday afternoon, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, Nepal recorded a total of 7,914 new cases of coronavirus infection.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 7,598 people tested positive for COVID-19 using the RT-PCR method, while 316 used the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 1,761 people in Kathmandu, 694 in Lalitpur, and 366 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for the pandemic virus, bringing the total number of fresh coronavirus cases in the capital valley to 2,281 in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 7,664 people have returned home after fully recovering from COVID-19.
