Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 6,951, including 106 new casualties

In the previous 24 hours, 106 COVID-19 individuals have reportedly died as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

The fresh deaths bring the country’s death toll to 6,951 as of Thursday afternoon, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, Nepal registered a total of 6,939 new cases of coronavirus infection.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 6,731 people tested positive for COVID-19 using the RT-PCR method, whereas 208 tested positive using the Antigen approach.

According to the Ministry, 1,738 people in Kathmandu, 364 in Lalitpur, and 265 in Bhaktapur have tested positive for the pandemic virus, bringing the total number of novel coronavirus cases in the capital valley to 2,367 in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 7,226 people have returned home after recovering completely from COVID-19.
