Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 7,047, with 96 new casualties


In the last 24 hours, 96 COVID-19 patients have died as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

The new deaths bring the country’s death toll to 7,047 as of Friday afternoon, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

In the meantime, Nepal has recorded 6,951 new cases of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 6,855 people tested positive for COVID-19 using the RT-PCR method, while 96 tested positive using the Antigen method.

Meanwhile, 9,841 people have returned home after recovering completely from COVID-19.
