Three members of the same family have died of corona infection in Triyuga Municipality-2 Khaijanpur of the district Udayapur.
According to Ward Chairman Ghaman Singh Khatri, Raman Pokhrel, 43, Hemraj Pokhrel, 38, and Devi Pokhrel, 36, died of corona infection 15 days ago, seven days ago, and Friday night simultaneously.
The village has been sealed off since Saturday night after the infection intensified.
According to Ward Chairman Khatri, the entire village has been sealed from Saturday night to August 8 after more than five dozen villages became infected with the flu.
According to Mohan Subedi, head of the health office in Udaipur, corona infection was on the decline in the district till 10 days ago.
He said that the infection has started increasing again in a week.
Chief of the Health Office, Subedi, said that PCR and antigen tests of all the villagers would be started by mobilizing a team of health workers from this morning as the infection was on the rise again in Khaijanpur.
After the spread of the infection, the area southeast of Khaijanpur has been sealed up to Jogidaha and west to Bhulke and north along the Triyuga river.
As soon as the village was sealed, permission was given to open general shops for daily necessities only from 7 to 9 in the morning.
