In the course of treatment at Banke Hospital, five more people have died from COVID-19.

A 34-year-old man from Badhaiya rural municipality-4, a 65-year-old woman from Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan City-6, Dang, a 55-year-old man from Badhaiya rural municipality-3, a 30-year-old woman from Athbis municipality-4, Dailekh, and a 37-year-old woman from Kalimati rural municipality-1 were among the deceased.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 deaths has risen to 596, including 300 from outside the district.
