KP Oli, the chairman of the ruling CPN-UML, has called a meeting of the Standing Committee (SC) today.
At 10 a.m., a meeting will be held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar to discuss current political issues.
According to Office Secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang, the meeting will review the current political situation and make further decisions.
The SC meeting was scheduled for Sunday but was canceled due to a lack of homework.
It should be noted that a previous UML SC meeting sought clarification from 12 lawmakers who had voted against the party’s decision.
However, they have yet to provide clarification. According to sources, the meeting is likely to expel 12 lawmakers for failing to provide clarification by the deadline.
