Domestic flights resume regular from today

Domestic flights, which were suspended following a ban on coronavirus (Covid-19) infection control, will resume two months later today.

As per the decision of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has decided to start regular domestic flights from today.

Even if the flight is regularized, it will not be fully operational. At present, there will be only 50 percent more flights than before. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has prepared to operate only 64 flights daily.

Buddha Air has been allowed 31 daily flights. So far, 15 yeti airlines, 7 Shree airlines and 3 Saurya Airlines have received flights.

The company, which flies in remote areas, has been allowed to operate eight daily flights from Kathmandu. Currently, only Tara Air and Summit Air are flying from Kathmandu to remote areas.

Although Sita Air flies in remote areas, it is providing services in remote areas based on regional airports.

Passengers traveling by air will have to follow the prescribed health standards.

Passengers with symptoms of corona will not be allowed to board the ship and a mask has been made mandatory.
