DPM Pokhrel thanks Mahabir Pun for his innovative COVID-19 help

Vice Prime Minister Ishwar Pokhrel thanked Mahabir Pun, the founder of the National Innovation Center, for her laudable support in combating the pandemic of coronavirus.

 

Today, Deputy Prime Minister Pokhrel praised the role played by the National Innovations Center in this difficult moment of a pandemic in meeting with renowned Nepalese scientist and Roman Magasassay Prize-winner Pun in Singha Durbar.

 

Different main health materials, including PEP, gloves, fans, ICUs and many more were developed, prepared and supplied by the National Innovation Center.

Under Pun the leadership of scholars at the Center the ventilators and other tools used for human treatment have been repaired and maintained.

 

Thousands of people in remote areas benefit from different self-help schemes that Pun has initiated for them.

Pokhrel showed interest in knowing whether this center could continue to play its part in tackling the potential scarcity of oxygen during the meeting.

 

Pun reported on the ongoing projects relating to the fight against the pandemic of coronavirus to DPM Pokhrel.
