The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has directed to conduct a new academic session from June 15.
A ministerial meeting held at the ministry on Sunday decided to start the new academic session from June 15.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Education, Deepak Sharma, said that the decision has been taken to facilitate the enrollment of students and distribution of textbooks for the new academic session and to continue the learning of children through alternative learning system.
He also informed that the issue of vaccinating school staff and teachers was also discussed.
During the meeting, Minister for Education Krishna Gopal Shrestha directed to make arrangements for evaluating the learning achievement of the children in the current academic session on the basis of appropriate method and process and to distribute textbooks to the students in time.
Similarly, Minister Shrestha has instructed to advance the learning of students through alternative methods until the situation of the Corona epidemic becomes normal.
