Extreme heat has disrupted life in some cities of the United States and Canada.

The US, California, Ohio, the capital Washington and Oregon have been hit by hot winds. The current temperature of 38 degrees Celsius has been warned that the temperature could reach 50 degrees Celsius.

Cooling centers have been opened for cooling in some cities.

The U.S. National Weather Service has forecast temperatures to set a new record.

Temperatures have also risen in Canada and British Columbia.
