On Wednesday night, police arrested a man in Kohalpur Municipality-12 of Banke district for allegedly killing his son
Thakur Prasad Wali, a resident of Chappargaudi in Kohalpur-12, was apprehended.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rabindra Khanal, chief of the Kohalpur-based Area Police Office, Wali struck his son, Poshan Wali, who appeared to be around 19 years old, with a Khukuri (knife) from behind while the latter was bathing.
The teen suffered a critical neck injury, according to DSP Khanal, and died as a result of his injuries while being transported to Nepalgunj’s Bheri Hospital.
Thakur was apprehended at his home. Meanwhile, the case is being investigated further, according to the DSP.
