Five buffaloes died in Lamjung due to lightning

Five buffaloes have died in a lightning strike at Lake Syaalu of Bhujung in Kwalasonthar village municipality-4 of Lamjung district.

Farmer Run Bahadur Gurung said that the buffalo died when lightning struck while it was raining in the pasture.

He said that only three of his buffaloes died due to the lightning that struck at around 5 pm on Monday. The rest of the buffaloes belong to Bir Bahadur Gurung (Ina). 

Local Nauraj Gurung said that the farmers have lost about Rs. 350,000.
