South Korea reports the highest number of Covid-19 infections in the Country so far.

Officials said the number of people infected with the coronavirus was rising for a fourth day on Saturday.

According to South Korean officials, in the last 24 hours, the number of Kovid 19 infected people has been found to be the highest in a single day. In the last 24 hours alone, 1,378 people have been found infected with Covid-19.

According to South Korean officials, this is the first time in six months that so many people have been infected. 

Officials say the number of infected people in South Korea has been steadily rising for the past four days.

At the same time, the number of infected people in South Korea has reached 1,66,722.

South Korean health officials say a fourth wave of Covid has begun.

Until a few weeks ago, there were no more than 700 infected people in South Korea, but now there are more than a thousand. 

According to health officials, the number of infected people across the country from July 1 to 7 this year is 54 percent higher than the previous three weeks.

Health officials said on Wednesday that South Korea had officially entered the fourth phase of the corona epidemic. 

About half of those infected on Saturday were in the capital, Seoul.

The Korean government says it has expanded its vaccination campaign against corona. 

The death toll from the corona infection has dropped, according to health officials.
