Gaurika Singh to carry Nepal’s flag at the Tokyo Olympics

Gaurika Singh will carry Nepal’s national flag at the World Games’ Tokyo Olympics in Japan.

The Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) said in a press conference on Tuesday that Gaurika will carry Nepal’s flag at the Tokyo Olympics to be held from July 23.

Chairman of the Olympic Committee Jeevan Ram Shrestha said that Nepal expects to perform well in the Olympics this time. “This time we have prepared for a long time, we have invested,” he said. “Hopefully, this time it will be a good performance.”

The Olympics, to be held in Japan from July 23 to August 8, will have 339 events in 33 sports and about 11,000 athletes will participate.
