  • Make sure the mobile device, tablet, or computer you’re casting from is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast or Chromecast-enabled TV.
  • Open a Chromecast-enabled app on your device.
  • Press and hold the Cast button. The cast extension is currently inactive. Note that not all Chromecast-enabled apps have the Cast button in the same position.
  • Select the device to which you’d want to send the video.
  • The Cast button will turn color when you’re connected, indicating that you’re connected.
  • Videos, movies, and TV shows can now be cast directly to your television.
  • Tap the Cast button, then Disconnect to end casting.

To avoid auto-switching, Android users can go to their device’s WiFi settings and uncheck ‘Network B,’ ensuring that the Android device is linked to the same ‘Network A’ as the Chromecast or Chromecast TV.
