Government to allow flights to 6 countries

Nepal’s government has decided to resume flights to countries with large numbers of Nepali workers. 

A meeting of the CCMC chaired by the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Committee KP Sharma Oli at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday night decided to resume flights to Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Japan, and Malaysia.

There will be no more than 2,000 passengers a year from these countries.

The meeting also decided to provide assistance to the workers who have gone for foreign employment but cannot stay in the quarantine at the hotel due to various reasons.
