High risk of floods around these rivers today

As the rains continue across the country, the risk of floods has increased in some major and tributary rivers across the country. 

The Flood Forecast Division of the Department of Water and Meteorology has urged to be vigilant as the Kankai, Koshi, Kamala, Bagmati and some of its tributaries and tributaries will be flooded today.

According to the Division, the flow of water in Narayani-Karnali-Mahakali-Rapti and Babai rivers will also increase normally. The forecast bulletin issued by the branch in the morning has urged to be vigilant in the coastal areas as the flow of rivers and streams flowing through Ilam, Jhapa, Morang, Udaipur, Okhaldhunga, Dhankuta, Taplejung and Sankhuwasabha will increase.

Residents of the rivers and streams in Bara, Dhanusha, Siraha and Saptari of Province 2 have also been urged to remain vigilant. Similarly, the rivers and streams of Rasuwa, Sindhupalchowk, Ramechhap, Nuwakot, Dolakha, Dhading, Chitwan, Makwanpur, Kathmandu and Sindhuli of Bagmati have been forecast to increase.
