Home Minister directs to pay special attention to rescue and relief work

Home Minister Khagraj Adhikari has directed to pay special attention to rescue and relief work after natural calamities.

Talking to the Minister of Internal Affairs and Law of the same province at Singha Durbar on Sunday, Minister Adhikari said that special attention should be paid to reduce the risk of natural calamities and rescue and relief work as soon as possible.

Minister Adhikari also said that the overall peace and security of the country and the management of corona infection prevention and treatment will be coordinated with the states, said Home Ministry spokesperson Janak Raj Dahal.
During the meeting, the ministry made a presentation on peace, security and disaster management action plan. Spokesperson Dahal said that it was agreed to implement the suggestions received from the seven states in the meeting.

At the same meeting, the Ministers of Internal Affairs and Law of the state also suggested the Minister to move ahead with the Police Integration and Federal Police Act as soon as possible.
