In a social media post on Thursday, the California band announced the sudden demise of the bass player. The band wrote that they are devastated to share the news that Tim died last night. They further asked the fans to respect their and Tim’s family’s privacy while they deal with this heartbreaking and untimely loss. Taking to Twitter, the California band only announced the unfortunate passing of the beloved bass player. His cause of death was not released immediately. Apart from the information that Tim Feerick died at 34, no details about his death have been disclosed by the family yet. Ever since the news broke online, fans rushed to pay tributes to Tim. Needless to say, everyone who admired the bass player and looked up to him is upset to learn about the news.

Tributes and condolences messages have flooded social media as Tim’s loved ones are finding it hard to process that Tim has gone so far. As per reports, Tim Feerick was in his thirties when he became part of the rock band in 2009. Although the bass player left the band in 2010. Later, in 2012, he returned. Feerick performed on “Afterburner”, the group’s latest album, in 2020, and the group’s recent single, Synergy. In 2005, Dance Gavin Dance was formed.

Currently, the band consists of vocalists Jon Mess and Tilian Pearson, lead guitarist Will Swan, drummer Matthew Mingus, and rhythm guitarist Andrew wells. The debut EP of the band was released in 2005 and was signed to ‘Rise Records’. It was titled “Whatever I Say Is Royal Ocean”. After that, the band released their debut studio album under the title “Downtown Battle Mountain”.

It premiered in May 2007. Later, their self-titled second album was released in 2008 followed by their third studio album “Happiness”, in June 2009. Lodge and Mess returned to the band in 2010 and went on to record their fourth studio album titled “Downtown Battle Mountain II”. The duo left the band again in 2012 and it was joined by Tilian Pearson, Josh Benton, and Tim Feerick.
