Dav Whatmore, the head coach of the Nepali cricket team, has arrived in Nepal to prepare for the triangular series to be held in Oman in September.
After the arrival of the coach in Nepal, the camp of the national team will be started from next year.
Earlier, the training was suspended after the ICC Cricket World Cup in Spain was postponed to the last minute. Whatmore then returned to Sri Lanka.
But Whatmore arrived in Nepal two days ago after CAN started training in the first week of August.
He will have a PCR test on Friday. Then they will go to the team’s camp.
CAN is preparing to keep the players who were called for the camp earlier. The United States has already started preparations for the series between Nepal and the United States in Oman.
Similarly, UAE has also kept the players in the camp.
Nepal has played only four matches so far in the ICC Cricket World Cup League Two.
In which two have won and two have lost.
So far, the exact date of the competition in Oman has not come yet.
But it is likely to start in the second week of September.
