Juhi Chawla, an actress, and environmentalist filed a petition in the Delhi High Court on Monday opposing the deployment of 5G wireless networks in the country

Citing concerns about the impact of radiation on residents, animals, flora, and fauna.

The case was shifted to another bench for hearing on June 2 by Justice C Hari Shankar, who presided over the hearing.

No person, animal, bird, insect, or plant on Earth will be able to avoid exposure to levels of RF radiation that are 10x to 100x times larger than what exists today, according to Chawla, if the telecommunications industry’s ambitions for 5G come to fruition.

She believes that these 5G plans will have major, irrevocable repercussions on humanity as well as permanent damage to all of the Earth’s ecosystems.

The complaint, filed by lawyer Deepak Khosla, asked the authorities to certify to the general public that 5G technology is safe for humans, men, women, adults, children, infants, animals, and all other living organisms, flora and fauna.
