The administration has allowed Jwala Sangraula, to be detained for three days.
The District Administration Office, Kathmandu has given permission to keep her in custody for investigation on the issue of indecent behavior.
Kathmandu Chief District Officer Kali Prasad Parajuli told Online Khabar that the investigation was allowed as per the demand of Kathmandu Police. Along with Sangraula, her husband Himal Upadhyaya and Sharmila Vaiva have also been allowed to be kept in jail.
Sangraula was arrested on the basis of an FIR filed by Khushbu (Nabita) Ghimire, a leader of the youth association.
According to the complaint, Ghimire was beaten by Sangraula at Gaushala Police Circle a month ago.
The old incident also came to light after Sangraula abused ASI Manikant Jha of Maharajgunj Police by giving racist remarks. And, the police had started searching for her.
