Kalinchowk Snowfall: A big number of local and international tourists have flocked to Kalinchowk, a pristine resort in the Dolakha district, to observe the snowfall and enjoy the scenery.

Kalinchowk is also a popular religious location, with worshippers paying tribute to Kalinchowk Bhagawati.

Kalinchowk and its surroundings recently experienced this season’s first snowfall, which drew a large number of tourists. As a result of the surge of visitors, the hotels in the Kuri bazaar have been completely booked.

According to hotelier Ram Tamang, visitor arrivals have increased following this season’s snowfall compared to previous years. He stated that hoteliers in Kuri bazaar are trying to accommodate tourists due to the high volume of visitors. On weekends, the neighborhood sees an increase in the number of visitors.

Tourists are captivated by the stunning beauty of Gaurishankar, Dorjee Lakpa, Rolwaling, Jugal, Langtang, and other peaks visible from Kalinchowk.

Ramita Regmi, a Kathmandu visitor, claimed she had never seen snow so close to her eyes. “So, we pals arrived right away after hearing about the fresh snowfall here,” Regmi explained.
