Manang Marsyangdi club captain Kamal Shrestha has signed a contract with Chyasal Youth Club for the new season’s A Division League at a high price.
Kamal had captained Manang when most of the Manang players joined Machhindra Club last season.
But Kamal chose Chyasal for the A Division League, which is set to begin in September. He has signed a contract with Chyasal for Rs 125,000 per month.
Kamal told online news that he went to the Chyasal this time as he liked the castle’s plan and was already talking.
“I have been talking to Chyasal for 2-3 years. This time their plan was also good. As I have already captained Manang, they accepted my offer, so I went to Chyasal, ‘said Kamal.
Kamal, who played for Lalitpur City in the Nepal Super League (NSL) held in May, said that he had signed the agreement as he was ready to ask for a higher salary. “The amount was agreed upon as I said,” he said.
In domestic football, the contract amount of the players is not disclosed. But Kamal has disclosed the amount of his agreement.

Kamal, who started playing in A Division League from Boys Union Club, played for Manang for five years.
