The Kathmandu Metropolitan City vote counting begins today at 8 a.m.
After the ballot boxes were collected by Friday night in Kathmandu, an all-party meeting resolved to begin counting at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
On Friday, the turnout was 64%. All ballot boxes from Kathmandu’s 363 voting locations have now been collected.
All preparations for the counting of ballots in Kathmandu have been finished in the Rashtriya Sabha Griha (City Hall). Tarpaulin has been used to protect the counting center.
