July 9, Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has said that preparations should be made to win the upcoming federal and state elections alone.
Speaking to UML National Assembly members at his residence in Balkot on Thursday evening, Chairman Oli said that a majority would be brought only when the party is united internally.
“So far, the coalition has been active against us, attacking. But the attack must be stopped, “said one participant, quoting Oli.” When we are united internally, we will win. ” Chairman Oli had said that there was a possibility of a single majority as the country was following the policy of UML.
UML is right in all aspects of development and foreign policy. Even so, the UML is still the main force ‘, Oli said.
However, Chairman Oli has indicated that the current alliance may not last till the election. “There have been emergency decisions in the past as well. It cannot be said that it will not happen tomorrow. But so far nothing has happened, ”said Oli.
Chairman Oli had said that the party should be in a state of readiness for both the possibilities. “It’s not an accident, the priority is to win alone,” said one participant. However, Oli said that the problems within the party should be resolved and move forward in a strong manner.
Chief Whip of the UML National Assembly Parliamentary Party Khim Lal Bhattarai had talked to Chairman Oli about national politics, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly and selection of Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee. Bhattarai had said that the house could not be effective due to non-election of parliamentary thematic chairperson.
In response, Chairman Oli directed to raise these issues effectively in the House.
