Police have arrested the Landlord on the charge of refusing to give her a room as she is a Dalit.
Police have arrested Saraswati Pradhan of Babarmahal on the charge of not giving room to Rupa Sunar, who is also a journalist.
Kathmandu Police Chief SSP Ashok Singh said that he was arrested for investigation after a complaint was lodged that she was not given a room because he was a Dalit.
While searching for the room, she had lodged a complaint at the Singha Durbar Metropolitan Police Circle alleging that she was not given the room due to caste discrimination.
