Man arrested with brown sugar in Surkhet

District Police Office, Surkhet has arrested a man with brown sugar. 

Police have arrested Leela Ram Puri, 42, of Pipira in Surkhet of Birendranagar Municipality-11 from in front of his house with Brown Sugar

Puri was arrested with 180 grams of brown sugar, said Ram Prasad Gharti, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Surkhet.

Police found him sitting suspiciously in front of his house. While searching his body, they found two packets hidden in a white plastic bag with blue thread in his right fist.

They also found a packet of black plastic under the bed and another packet of white glitter.

They weighed 180 grams. Information Officer Gharti said.

According to him, a total of Rs 50,340 in cash has been recovered along with Nepali and Indian notes including brown sugar.

¬†Similarly, digital scales, MI company’s screen touch mobile, multi-colored mobile writing tabs were recovered one by one, police said.
