The regulatory body Nepal Securities Board has confirmed that there is ‘cornering’ in the share market. A study conducted by the board has shown cornering in the shares of 51 companies.
The study report has shown that big and smart investors are manipulating the share market to increase the share price.
The Board has prepared the study report and submitted it to the Ministry of Finance. According to the report, some limited individuals and groups have raised the prices of 51 companies unnaturally.
“There are some basic factors that need to increase the share price, but there is no specific reason for the increase in the share price of some companies,” the report said.
