Indian women’s boxer Mary Kom has dropped out of the boxing event at the Tokyo Olympics.

Colombia’s Ingrit Valencia won in the round of 16 on Thursday and dropped Kom out of the competition.

In the women’s flyweight 48-51 kg weight category, Kom lost 3-2 to Valencia.

With this, Kom, who is playing in the last Olympics, has fulfilled her dream of winning a second medal in the Olympics.

Kom, 38, won a bronze medal at the London Olympics.

Kom’s dream of winning gold at the Olympics six times has not come true. Kom has even won gold in the Asian Games.
