An unidentified group has shot a medical practitioner in Siraha

Ram Sagar Safi, manager of Siddhi Medical Hall in Mircheya Municipality Ward No. 5 was injured in the shooting, according to police

According to SP Hira Bahadur Pandey, Chief of the District Police Office, Siraha, an unidentified group escaped after firing two rounds at Safi, 45, at around 8:45 pm on Saturday.

According to SP Pandey, Safi was shot once in the hand and in the thigh. Initially, he has been referred to Biratnagar after treatment at a local hospital in Mirchaiya. The condition of the injured is stable, the hospital said. The incident is being investigated, police said.
