South Korean President Moon Jae-in has congratulated Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The congratulatory message sent by President Moon to Prime Minister Deuba, who is also in charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was handed over by Korean Ambassador to Nepal Park Chong Suk on Friday.

Expressing gratitude to the Korean President for the congratulatory message, Prime Minister Deuba said that he was looking forward to cooperating with President Moon to further strengthen the friendly relations between Nepal and Korea. 

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Prime Minister also discussed with the Korean Ambassador about promoting bilateral relations.

On Friday, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal Syed Haider Shah paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Deuba. 

On the occasion, they discussed issues of mutual interest, including cooperation and solidarity against COVID-19, bilateral trade, investment, and tourism promotion, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
