Nepali Congress MP Amaresh Kumar Singh has resigned from the post. 

He handed over his resignation letter to the party president and prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

He said that he had resigned from the post of MP due to the active membership dispute. 

MP Singh said that he had submitted his resignation saying that the active membership was rigged in the name of integration. 

Singh is an MP from Sarlahi Constituency No. 4.
