Minister for Communications and Information Technology Nanakala Thapa took charge on Thursday.
After taking oath from the President’s Office, she has taken charge in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology at Singha Durbar.
Thapa, who is already the chairperson of the Women’s Commission, has not been active in politics lately. But after making two ministers from the former Maoist quota, Nanakala has become the communications minister.
She is the wife of UML leader and former home minister Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal.
